Top 4 Foundations!

When it comes to foundations personally, I usually just settle for ones that I know have the ability to stay on my face. There’s nothing worse than your foundations going patchy and ending up on the floor half way through your day!

I work long shifts and sometimes have my foundation on for 14 hours a time so when I see a foundation stating it lasts for 16+hours, I need it to live up to that..

So I thought I’d do a drug store foundation favourites of the ones I’ve been living for recently. This post could of been hella long because there’s so many foundations I’ve been loving at the minute. BUT I’ve managed to narrow it down to just 4..

  • Bourjois – Healthy Mix .. this foundation is mega hydrating which is such a bonus because who doesn’t love something that’s going to hydrate the heck out of your face haha. The coverage is light to medium but can be built up. I tend to use this on the days I don’t want heavy makeup, because the finish is lovely.
  • Revolution Stick foundation .. this is forever going to be my favourite foundation, I Actually reach for this more than my high end foundations. The coverage is amazing, i have a combination of dry/oily skin and I’ve found this foundation helps so much with disguising that. It doesn’t cling to any dry patches and doesn’t make me look like a disco ball, although it does leave your skin with a bit of a shine, it’s not overpowering and it’s so easy to make matte.
  • L’Oréal – True Match .. as with the makeup rev one, this foundation is my all time FAVE and another most reached for product/repurchase. Every YouTuber and blogger raves about this and honestly I can see why it’s sooo hyped about, its full coverage and surprisingly leaves a really nice natural looking glow to the face, again this is another foundation that can easily be made matte using the right powders etc.
  • EX1 – invisiwear .. out of all the foundations I’ve mentioned this is one of my less reached for products but one I really wanted to include, it took me absolutely ages to find this in my shade so when I saw that boots finally restocked I had to grab it. I find blending this out with a brush just doesn’t work for me, it leaves me with such uneven coverage..which is actually strange ha! A damp beauty blender works wonders so would definitely recommend giving that a try too! But all in all the coverage is there (when applied with a damp beauty blender) and it’s easy to make matte which in this season I love.

What are your go to foundations at the minute?
